Breathwork & Bumholes™
Erotic insurgency intensive
“All you need is a relaxed breath & butthole.”
Who this is for:
People ready to do the work of staying in their bodies.
People tired of spiritual bypassing that ignores material reality.
People who know their liberation is tied to collective liberation.
People who want pleasure to be more than self-care—who want it to be resistance.
You don't need breathwork experience. You don't need to be "good at" embodiment. You just need to be willing to practice staying present when your body wants to flee.
What is your relationship to your body right now?
Do you have trouble staying present? Do you often feel at odds with your body, as if the two of you were on different pages? Is unwanted and unhelpful dissociation a challenge for you? (Dissociation has its uses and can be a healthy response to trauma. Here, I'm speaking of the type that becomes an obstacle to the erotic life you long for.)
What is your relationship to your pleasure?
Do you have trouble actually feeling pleasure? Do you have trouble feeling pleasure anywhere but your genitals/erogenous zones? Or vice versa, only able to feel pleasure in your genitals/erogenous zones but unsure what physical pleasure feels like if it's not part of a sexual escapade? Do you feel guilty or ashamed when you do feel pleasure?
What is your relationship to The Divine?
Do you feel disconnected from Spirit? Do you long for a visceral connection to your ancestors? Does the religion that shaped you—whether you still practice it or not—leave room for your full embodied self, or did it teach you to choose between pleasure and devotion? Do you think that spiritual development must exist separately from your sexual development & expression?
What would it feel like to refuse disconnection from your body?
What would your life be like if you understood physical pleasure as birthright, not something you earn or deserve? What would be different if you understood why your erotic power & physical pleasure was dangerous to Empire, and claimed it without shame?
White supremacy, capitalism, colonialism—these systems require your disconnection to function. They need you numb, dissociated, cut off from the power that lives in your flesh. They need you to believe your body is separate from spirit, that pleasure is frivolous, that survival means staying small. When you disconnect from your body, you disconnect from your lineage, your ancestors, your inherent power—it's strategic violence designed to keep you compliant.
And right now, with fascism rising in the US and globally, with late-stage capitalism collapsing, with climate catastrophe accelerating—the pressure to disconnect is relentless. We're bombarded with reasons to numb out, dissociate, flee our bodies entirely. Staying present feels impossible. But that's exactly why embodied practice becomes insurgency. Your breath, your pleasure, your refusal to abandon your flesh are acts of resistance against systems that need you docile.
So how do we do this?
All you need is a relaxed breath & butthole.
Why the breath?
The mouth is the portal to consciousness.
Because your nervous system has been running on survival mode so long you forgot what regulation feels like. Breathwork rewires that—actively, deliberately. You learn to stay present in your body when everything in you wants to dissociate, disconnect, or numb out. That presence? That's where your power lives.
The breath transforms consciousness, shifts the plane you operate on, changes what your body is capable of—martial artists, athletes, singers, yogis, and wind instrument players all know this.
Why the butthole?
The butthole is the portal to knowing.
Because it's the part of your body most colonized by shame. Religion taught you it's dirty. Culture taught you it's unspeakable. Your own trauma taught you to clench against the world. When you learn to breathe into your asshole—to soften it, to let it be neutral, to recognize it as just another part of your body—you're dismantling shame at its root.
The butthole is your body's GPS: tension or relaxation tells you which directions to move toward or away from. It's also close to your gut, which is a site of knowledge—especially for those of us in bodies that are marginalized or multiply marginalized by the State. A relaxed butthole means a regulated nervous system. They're connected. When your asshole can soften, your whole body can.
The practice
In this intensive practice, we're connecting the portal to knowing with the portal to consciousness—practicing the relationship between them to transform how you relate to your body, your pleasure, and the Divine. These aren't just metaphors: your mouth and your asshole are opposite ends of the same tube, physiologically connected through your entire digestive tract. When you're fully present in both your embodied knowledge and your conscious awareness, when breath and body speak the same language, you become ungovernable. The State needs you split, disconnected, unable to trust what your body knows. A body that can access both portals simultaneously is a threat to every system built on your compliance.
The Logistics
This runs twice a year on a 4-month cycle: March–June and August–November.
Each month is focused on one theme. We’ll circle on Zoom on the 4th Sunday of the month @ 12PT. The session will be recorded (my face/voice only), and you will have access to it for the duration of your time in the cycle.
In between sessions, you’ll receive a weekly email with prompts for journal or creative reflection and/or exercises to do on your own. The prompts will be pre-recorded, but not “canned.” Each cycle, some prompts will be based on what that cycle’s members are bringing forward.
We’ll have a private forum to stay connected between sessions. This will be the place to post our observations on the prompts, to ask questions, to share our journeys & any epiphanies along the way. Participation in the forum is an important part of the practice. Your sharing could be life-altering for another participant, and someone else’s sharing might provide the key to unlock a whole new way of being for you.
The Cycle
-

Embodiment
Learning to stay present in your flesh when systems taught you dissociation keeps you safe. Capitalism needs you numb to your body's needs so you'll work through exhaustion. White supremacy needs you disconnected from ancestral body wisdom. Disconnection is what serves oppression. We practice coming back, staying present, inhabiting your body as an act of refusal.
-

Eros
Reclaiming erotic power as the threat to Empire it actually is. The power that lives in your body can't be commodified or controlled, which makes you dangerous to systems needing you compliant. Physical pleasure—especially self-pleasure—is a direct path to accessing this power. When you can give yourself pleasure without needing permission or validation, you're claiming sovereignty. That sovereignty threatens every system built on your dependence.
-

Emancipation
Freeing your spiritual practice from the colonizing messages of organized religion—the ones that taught you your body is sinful, your pleasure is shameful, and spirit lives somewhere outside your flesh. Reclaiming connection to the sacred that lives in your breath, in your asshole, in the parts of you religion said were profane. Your spiritual practice serves YOUR liberation, not someone else's control.
-

Enactment
Taking everything you've practiced and living it in the world. This means building a daily practice that sustains you, relating differently to the people around you, making choices that honor what your body knows. Liberation looks different for every body—maybe it's small daily refusals, maybe it's complete life restructuring. Whatever form it takes, enactment is how embodied knowledge becomes lived resistance.
